DIMO is a mobile application developed for people located in rural areas of Colombia, with low literacy rates, digital and financial inclusion. It is characterized by being a simple, lightweight and versatile application that can be used with and without internet connection. This application was created to be a communication channel between financial institutions and the population that provides the service as a “Corresponsal”.

“Corresponsales” are important to the community because they save people time and money. They are also allies of financial institutions and provide some services to their clients, in remote municipalities or where there are no bank branches. Where there are no “Corresponsales” people spend a lot of time (and money) traveling to make transactions.
