This mobile video game was developed in 2018 and launched in 2019 for the largest pediatric hospital in Colombia, the Fundación Hospital de la Misericordia HOMI (Bogotá), who are leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer in the country.
The purpose of this video game was to raise funds through purchases at Apple and Google Play stores, where the main character was Colombian soccer sports star JAMES RODRÍGUEZ. The game consisted of the endless runner mechanic where the player had to run the greatest amount of distance avoiding the obstacles and facing the enemies Karkinu, Lefkaimía, Lénfoma and Ónkus who represented cancer.
The player had the option to choose between 4 children: Chimeio, Farma, Actino and Cheirú or JAMES. To fight cancer and as the player advanced in the midst of medieval castles and villas, he could collect coins which he could use to buy new armor or powers with which he level up, becoming stronger and increasing his chance of winning the battle to cancer. The game had a ranking which was connected to Facebook, allowing the player to share their results on this social network and compete against their friends and other users.
